The Beats EP are the brand's most affordable headphones. They offer a very well balanced sound, have an iconic design, good build quality and are available for a very attractive price. After testing them in our studio, we can say that the Beats EP music headphones are the best value Beats headphones.

Design

Beats EPs have a modern industrial design that is recognizable anywhere. The build quality is very decent for this price range, and they are very attractive. The band and cups are made of the same plastic found in more expensive Beats headphones. They also feature the same padding. Once on, they are comfortable and lightweight (200g).

Beats EP stand out for their price/performance ratio. However, they have their cons. After wearing them for a while, they begin to exert an uncomfortable pressure on the head. Also, the cable doesn't seem as sturdy as the body and it's not removable, so if it gets damaged you'll need to buy another pair of Beats EP. They fit on the ears very well, but the padding of the cups is not the most comfortable.

Beats EP headphones have a closed-type on-ear design. They are portable, although we regret that they don't have a foldable structure. The chassis are reinforced with stainless steel and are resistant. You can take them anywhere, but keep in mind that they don't have protection against water or sweat. They come with a soft carrying case.

Connectivity

Beats EP headphones don't work with Bluetooth technology, and you can only connect them to your devices via 3.5mm audio cables. Beats EPs integrate a small control module in the cable with three buttons that allow you to change volume, play/pause and answer calls.
The three buttons are easy to access, react very well to touch and are well separated from each other. Through the remote control, you can also access a personal assistant such as Siri.

Beats EP headphones sound quality
